KABUL (SW) – The logistics directorate of the Ministry of Defense in the capital Kabul on Monday came under assault by the Taliban.
A well-placed source told Salam Watandar many people got injured in a massive suicide attack followed by gunfight. Eye-witnesses said heavy gunfire was underway and loud explosions were heard.
According to the Afghanistan Football Federation a number of sportsmen sustained injuries and the facility also sustained damage.
The Taliban have taken responsibility for this attack.
