26/05/2018

GARDEZ (SW): The Aryub charity organization with the support of the locals on Saturday laid foundation stone for a girls’ school in the remote Gul Ghonday area of Paktia province.

Kochi Zazay, head of the directorate of education, informed this school in the Aryub Zazay district would cost up to AFN 15 million. The two-story school building is set to have ten class rooms for students. The head of the directorate of education said up to 500 girls can study in this school.

He urged all Paktia residents to join hands and strive for children’s education in the province.

A while ago, a similar move was taken by a trader in neighboring Zurmat district. This trend of generous support for schools by the locals indicate the growing respect and affection towards education.
