KABUL (SW): The literacy program of the Ministry of Education (MoE) has been set to undergo a change.

Sardar Mohammad Rahimi, deputy director for literacy at the MoE, told journalists in Kabul on Sunday the syllabus which was used for literacy program was mostly text oriented simply stressing upon reading and writing. He added the new curriculum focuses more on development of skills and knowledge in economy, management and vocational training aside from improving reading and writing skills.
