
KUNDUZ (SW) – At least 15 civilians got killed in Kunduz province on Tuesday in a landmine blast, an official confirmed.
As per the provincial administration, these civilians were on their way from neighboring Khan Abad district to attend a wedding ceremony in Imam Saheb district when their car hit the landmine in Aaey Kham Chaal area in the evening causing the tragedy.
Though, the Taliban have been blamed for the attack, but there has been no immediate claim of responsibility for the incident.
Separately, an identical incident in the Sar-e-Pul province injured 13 people, including 6 children.
