KUNDUZ CITY(SW): Following continued intense fighting and a few days occupation of the Kunduz City by the Taliban have displaced some 20,000 families who feel that the province would never be the same for them as it was before.

Robina is a woman who fled Kunduz due to fighting and came to Kabul with her crippled husband. She complained about the worst economic condition, which has gripped her making her even unable to pay the taxi fare to flee the conflict. She borrowed money to pay for the travel to Kabul. She said that they have not received any assistances from the government till now and was not willing to return to Kunduz.

She narrated the tale of how miserable life has become for those displaced families who were forced to flee the province to save their lives leaving behind their houses and properties.
