KUNDUZ (SW) – A number of Kunduz University students have staged a protest demonstration against alleged cooking of donkey meat at their hostel.
They gathered in front of the governor’s office to voice their concerns in this connection. They demanded the authorities to look into this matter, and hold the perpetrators accountable.
Dr. Khyber Saifi, Chancellor of Kunduz University, told Salam Watandar investigations have been launched. He vowed if the allegations proved right, the meat supplier and the corresponding butchery would be taken into account.
The students claim they were served horse meat on multiple times last year.
