KABUL (SW) – The top U.S. peace envoy for Afghanistan has resumed his diplomatic mission to defuse political tension in the country, a source told Salam Watandar.
A source close to Abdullah Abdullah, self-proclaimed president of the Inclusive Government, told Salam Watandar the U.S. special representative for Afghanistan reconciliation would hold talks in Kabul to address political and electoral tensions.
This is going to be the second round for the U.S. envoy to address differences between President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani and Abdullah Abdullah.
Salam Watandar wished to have the views of the presidency in this connection, but to no avail.
