KABUL (SW): The Kabul Eagles (KE) and Bost Defenders (BD) won their respective matches on the third day of the ongoing ‘Shpageeza’ T20 tournament here on Wednesday.
As per the details, Kabul Eagles took on the Amu Sharks for the first match of the day. Bating first, the Amu Sharks were restricted by the defending champions for 134 runs in the given 20 overs. The Kabul Eagles achieved the target thanks to a quick-fire 28 by Karim Sadique, who also took three wickets earlier.
This second victory has placed the Kabul Eagles on top of the table among the six contending teams.
In the second match of the day, Mis-e-Ainak Knights lost to Bost Defenders in a thriller. Bating first, the Bost Defenders piled-up a massive target of 202 thanks to a century by the South African batsman Delport. Chasing the target, the Mis-e-Ainak Knights managed to score 194 with an impressive display of batting by Nasir Jamal who scored 83 runs.
On Thursday, Band-e-Amir Dragons would face Speenghar Tigers and Amo Sharks would play against the Mis-e-Ainak Knights.
