KABUL (SW): A three-day job and education fair kicked-off in the capital Kabul on Monday.
Organized jointly by the Ministry of Higher Education, and Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled, the fair is set to create up to 5000 job opportunities for qualified individuals. The fair has been supported by the USAID and Plan Future organization.
Mirwais Mirzakwal, advisor at the MoLSMD, said on the occasion that a large number of public and private sector firms are present at this fair seeking to hire qualified and competent individuals for available posts.
Sadaf is a fresh graduate who got a decent job via a similar fair last year. She has hailed this event as important in providing a platform for youth to seek jobs.
This comes as a large number of youngsters are jobless, but such fairs can help improve situation.
