Japan thrashed Afghanistan in beach football

DA NANG (SW): Japan thrashed Afghanistan with a huge margin of 11-0 in a beach football match on Sunday.

The match in Da Nang, Vietnam during the ongoing 5th Asian Beach Games 2016. According to the official website of the games, Japan outclassed Afghanistan in this Group D encounter.   The match was played in three sessions. Two Afghan players, Mahmood Azad and Ali Jabeer also conceded yellow cards for foul play.

Before the match, the Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF) claimed that the team featuring in this match has worked hard in the practice sessions to showcase good performance. The Afghan squad is now set to take on China in these ongoing 5th Asian Beach Games 2016. These games kick-off on Sunday with the beach football, beach handball and beach volleyball teams in action. 

The Games were officially opened on Saturday and will conclude on October 3, features 22 disciplines, with events to be held across five venues.
