JAWZJAN (SW): ISIS has stopped the activities of Etisalat, Roshan, and MTN in several districts of Jawzjan.
A credible source in the government who didn’t want to be named told Salam Watandar that ISIS forces have warned the people and authorities of these telecommunication companies in Qosh Tapa and Darzab districts of Jawzjan to shut down their coverage in this province and not to make outside calls.
According to the source, ISIS issued a warning after attacking several villages in Darzab districts of Jawzjan province.
Abdul Hafiz Khashi, Police Chief of Jawzjan has confirmed the shutdown of these telecommunication companies in Jawzjan. However, the ISIS has not issued any statement in this regard.
