KABUL (SW) – The US has claimed that Iran is breaking United Nations resolutions by aggressively sending arms to the Taliban in Afghanistan.

Iran Action Group chief, Brian Hook, said on Thursday November 29 that Iranian weapons have been transferred to militants in Yemen and Afghanistan. At a military hangar in Washington, Hook showed reporters a collection of guns, rockets, drones and other gear.

Meanwhile, the Taliban have rejected this claim of receiving weapons from Iran. In a statement, the rebels dubbed it as a propaganda effort by the ‘enemy to hide deafeat’.
