According to the residents, ever since Safi has become the head of the appellate court, corruption has significantly diminished, and the cases are fairly considered and processed as soon as they are referred to the court. Although, government officials has time and again pledged to curb the corruption but based on the recent reports, Afghanistan remains one of the most three corrupt countries in the world.
