KABUL (SW) – Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, head of the Hezb-e-Islami party and a presidential candidate, on Tuesday blamed the presidency for fueling ethnic rift.
He said today that while responding to his queries written in Pashto, the presidency replies in Dari language. He went on to say most of the official communication by the presidency is not done in Pashto language, and the little bit of it has plenty of grammatical errors.
When contacted, the president’s spokesman Sediq Sediqi declined to comment on this matter.
Gulbuddin Hekmatyar who inked a peace deal with the government after years of armed insurgency has been blamed himself for fueling ethnic rift on multiple occasions.
