KABUL (SW): The Ministry of Education on Tuesday inked deals worth $ 2.35 million grant for uplift of education sector in the country.
Assadullah Hanif Balkhi, Minister for Education, said on the occasion that grant would be used to lift the standards of education, preparations for university entrance examinations, English language learning, technical and vocational training, and lifting the skills of women and girls across the country. He stressed upon transparent utilization of the grant.
The Minister for Education also urged upon aid agencies to help improve the education sector in the country. On the occasion, representatives of the donor community pledged support in this regard.
