KABUL (SW) – Lalluddin Aryubi, State Minister for Martyrs, and Disabled Persons on Tuesday lamented government’s lack of attention towards people with disabilities in the country.
Addressing a presser here, the minister said the MoMD has its resources and budget reduces to the size of a directorate. He said as many as 311, 000 families of the martyrs and disabled persons are registered with it.
He added that a phenomenal 10.3 per cent of the whole population has disabilities, and up to 700,000 of them are disabled due to reasons without the war.
