KABUL (SW) – The government on Wednesday rejected the Taliban leader's message on urging the US to salvage the peace deal.
Presidential spokesman Sediq Sediqqi rejected Mullah Hibatullah statement. "On one end they (Taliban) are 'butchering' our people and spread horror and on the other end talking about the peace agreement, this message (by Taliban leader) is meaningless unless they make peace with the masses", he said in a tweet.
Earlier, the Taliban leader Mullah Hibatullah urged the US not to let the landmark peace agreement be failed in Afghanistan amid resurging violence in the country.
