GHAZNI (SW): Thousands of passengers and vehicles are stranded in Ghazni as protesters continue to stage demonstrating against the killing of two people in Qara Bagh district.
The presence of security forces has increased in the city while the residents are urging the government to resolve the situation via talks. The local administration informed a fact-finding commission headed by the provincial police chief Gen. Mohammad Zaman has visited the district. The team has identified the people involved in the killing.
Last week, men wearing police uniforms stormed the Sher Abad village in Qara Bagh killing two people and taking away two others.
The Ghazni provincial administration has informed that a fact-finding commission from Kabul has also reached the province. Meanwhile, the protestors have vowed to continue the protest until the government meet their demands.
