KABUL (SW) – President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has reiterated his resolve to safeguard rights of the citizens as well as democratic values in the country.
He was addressing the Joint Coordination and Monitoring Board Meeting here on Monday. President Ghani said women and youth of the country would defend their democratic rights, and no one would be allowed to undermine these core values.
The President also underlined that the neutrality of the security forces and public entities would be ensured during the forthcoming presidential polls. He added principle guidelines for the security forces and other public servants in connection with the elections would be published soon.
This comes as Ghani’s opponents have been blaming him for using state funds his personal election campaign.
