KABUL (SW) – A momentous $ 1.6 million cooperation deal was inked between the Ministry of Public Health and German government-owned development bank, KfW, here on Saturday.
Ferozuddin Feroz, minister for the MoPH, told the moot in this connection that the grant would be used to acquire medical equipment for the Abu Ali Seena Hospital in Balkh.
The German government has already granted ten million Euros for the polio vaccination program in Afghanistan.
The MoPH also inked a deal with a private firm, Shaheer, for providing services to Afghan patients seeking medical services in India.
