SAMANGAN (SW): Officials in Samangan province said that since two days, four miners are stuck in upper Dara Souf mines.
Sediq Azizi, spokesperson for the Governor of Samangan, said the incident occurred in the Changwui mines in the upper Dara Souf district.
According to Mr. Azizi, the rescue team has been sent to the valley to help these stuck people, but so far there is no news.
Some residents of Dara Souf district of Samangan province said that part of the coal mines in this district has collapsed and four miners who were inside of the mines for extraction of coal, have been stuck inside.
Local residents said that so far there is no news about the situation of these four people who are stuck inside the coal mines.
The inactivity of the telecommunication networks in the upper Dara Souf District in Samangan has made it difficult to inform and request for assistance and so far no further information is available on this issue.
