NANGARHAR (SW): As a result of an operation conducted by the security forces in the eastern province of Nangarhar, four civilians were killed.
This operation was carried out last night in the Janikhil area of Bati-Kot district of Nangarhar.
Residents of Janikhil told Salam Watandar that the security forces attacked a house and killed four members of a family as a result of the shooting.
According to the eyewitnesses, the victims were a father with two sons and a nephew.
Attaullah Khogyani, spokesperson for the governor of Nangarhar confirmed the incident and said that the identities of these people are still not verified.
According to sources, a delegation will be assigned to investigate this incident soon.
