KABUL (SW):  Rahmatullah Nabel, the former spymaster has established an organization aimed at supporting the members of the Afghan National Security and Defense Forces (ANSDF).

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, Rahmatullah Nabel, the head for ‘Aid Foundation for Afghan Heroes’, stated that this institute has been established in a bid to support ANSF and their family members. Nabel assured that it is a non-profit organization and has no political objectives.

Nabel added that the ANSF are the guarding force for the country that is firmly standing against the enemies.

Amrullah Saleh, another former chief for the National Directorate for Security (NDS) was also present on the occasion. Saleh stated that unlike the ‘divided’ Afghan politicians, the ANSF are united. He added that the politicians are self-centered and are cut-off from the ANSF. Saleh noted that peace would not be restored unless strong coordination between ANSFs and politicians is developed. He stated that peace can not be achieved by “appeasing the enemies”.

Speaking at the occasion, Sher Mohemmad Karimi, the former Army Chief, stated that security institutions have no proper coordination among them. He complained that the soldiers are under the Taliban’s siege, but no one is listening to their outcries.
