KABUL (SW): A busy shopping center “Abbasin Zadran Market” in the capital Kabul caught fire on Thursday leaving at least one man dead besides inflicting financial damage worth millions.
This market is located at the crowded Kota Sangi square in the Mirwais Maidan area in southern Kabul. Reasons behind the eruption of the fire are not known yet. The top most 11th floor caught fire after two blasts, the locals said. A Salam Watandar correspondent said that a person caught by the fire on the top floor jumped from the top and lost his life
Till last reports, fire fighters were busy battling the flames.
