QALA-I-NAW (SW): A father in Badghes province has killed his young daughter for having an affair with a boy.
Zahir Bahan, provincial governor's spokesman,told Salam Watandar that the incident took place in Qadis district of the province.
“The couple was caught red handed, the father of the girl immediately shot his daughter dead, but the boy managed to escape”, added Bahan. He said the suspect escaped from the crime scene, and further investigations have begun.
Mohammad Farid Akhizi, deputy chairman for the provincial council, has also confirmed this incident of honor killing. He said that the incident took place in the Taliban controlled area of the province.
