EXCLUSIVE: Abdullah picks names for his proposed cabinet

KABUL (SW) – Salam Watandar has obtained documents from credible sources indicating shape of a future government from the perspective of presidential candidate Abdullah Abdullah.

The proposed list has politicians from diverse background and parties nominated for key government posts such as ministries, governorship, ambassadors and head of government institutions.

Former foreign minister, Salahuddin Rabbani has been proposed for the same post he recently vacated while individuals like Mustafa Mastoor, Suraya Dalil, Ali Ahmad Usmani, Syed Saadat Naderi, Khalid Pashtun, Najeeb Aqa Fahem, Raheela Dostum and Bashir Tayanej have been proposed as ministers.

Similarly, another presidential candidate, Rehmatullah Nabil has been reportedly proposed to head the NDS while people like Fazal Ahmad Manawi, Mohammad Adeeb Fahem, Fareed Hamidi and Fareeda Momand to head other various public departments.

Former Balkh governor, Atta Mohammad Noor has been proposed for the governorship of the province he governed for years while other proposed governors include Hekmat Khalil Karzai, Zaher Qadeer, Humayun Humayun, Nabi Tariq and Qahat Aabid.

Among the proposed ambassadors abroad are names like Abdullah Khinjani, Umer Zakhilwal, Kanishka Turkistani, Massoud Khalili and Mujibur Rehman Rahimi.
