KABUL (SW) – The Ministry of Education has banned the engagement of school children for welcoming local or foreign dignitaries or for electoral campaign.
In an official communique, the MoE has directed all relevant offices that no one has the right to engage school children for propaganda, rallies, gatherings and election related events. The MoE has said the main objective behind this move is to ensure the impartiality of schools and ensure physical and psychological well-being of students considering the security situation in the country.
The Ministry of Education has also banned the engagement of school children for welcoming local and foreign dignitries, including minister for the MoE.
A while ago, the MoE banned the practice of collection funds from students for the reconstruction or refurbishing of schools.
