KABUL (SW): Egypt’s national football team qualified for FIFA World Cup 2018 after beating Congo on Sunday. The victory came for Egypt at the 95th minute from a penalty shout.
Mohamed Salah, the Egyptian winger, and Liverpool star, first scored in the 62nd minute but was equalized by Bouka Moutou.
Egypt strived to triumph to the much-needed win. Mohamed Salah converted the penalty with a left footed shot to the bottom right corner in 95th minute.
The win put Egyptian players in an unassailable position in their group and qualified for World Cup after 28 years.
Egypt first played in 1934 and then in 1990 World Cup hosted by Italy.
