KABUL (SW) – The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock joined hands with the Ministry of Telecommunication and Information Technology for the e-Agriculture Exhibition Complex here on Sunday.
Addressing the gathering, Naseer Ahmad Durrani, minister for the MAIL, said this complex would help overcome the farmers’ issues. The minister said farmers can access toll-free number of 150 to discuss their issues, and have experts’ advice.
The MAIL minister asked the officials from the MoCIT to provide technical assistance in this regard.
On his term, Shahzad Gul Aryubi, minister for the MOCIT, hailed the e-Agriculture Exhibition Complex in promoting agriculture, and pledged full support to the MAIL.
According to the officials, the hotline would provide information in Pashto and Dari languages, and would be easily accessible to all farmers.
