Masoud Safi, one of the disabled men, said on the occasion the raging violence and killings of the civilians is no more acceptable to them. He went on to charge some politicians and government officials for promoting violence that is claiming the lives of tens of citizens on daily basis.

Other speakers said on the occasion enemies of the nation have exploited the internal differences among politicians in Afghanistan. In a resolution issued at the end of the moot, the disabled men urged political, Jihadi, and tribal leaders as well as the government leaders to strive unitedly for peace.

Reading out the resolution, Abdul Hakeem Hamdard, another disabled man, also urged upon the neighboring countries to help promote peace in Afghanistan. The disabled persons’ society warned to initiate nation-wide protest campaigns if their demands for political harmony and peace are not met.
