KABUL (SW) – A number of politicians, civil society activists and journalists on Saturday left for Doha to attend the forthcoming intra-Afghan dialogue for peace.
This comes as the Afghan government has clarified the participants of the intra-Afghan dialogue for peace are joining this session in personal capacity, and do not necessarily represent the government.
The two-day conference would begin in the Qatari capital on Sunday, and would be co-hosted by Germany.
This is a third such meeting after a similar moot in Moscow last month.
This comes as the seventh round of talks between the U.S. and Taliban continued in Doha. Some reports suggest the details of these talks would be kept secret until agreement is reached on all points.
