03/11/2017

KABUL (SW): According to the UNICEF’s information, at least 26 children die each day in Afghanistan due to diarrhea which brings the number to 9500 death per year.

The UNICEF has recently announced that the number of children who have lost their lives due to this disease has dropped from 10,000 to 9,500 for the first time in Afghanistan.

In a newsletter, this organization has announced that about 1.2 million children in Afghanistan suffer from malnutrition.

The newsletter mentions that although there is a decrease in the number of death of children under the age of 5 who die due to diarrhea but the disease is still fatal in Afghanistan.

In another part of the news letter, it says that the death rate of the children in Afghanistan is painful and the only solution is to wash hands and provide safe drinking water to children.
