KUNDUZ CITY (SW): Authorities in Kunduz province reported of finding a decapitated body of a 25-year-old girl in a desert between Ali Abad and Khan Abad districts.
Abdul Hamid Hamidi, the provincial police chief, told Salam Watandar that the body of the young girl was found on Tuesday morning, but her identity and motive behind the murder are still unknown. “The victim’s body is sent to forensics for post mortem”, informed Hamidi.
Abdul Matin Atefi, the provincial public health director, informed that initial findings indicate the victim was decapitated from the back of her neck. He added that the corpse is 4-day-old and a part of it was eaten by animals.
