KABUL (SW) – Police in the capital Kabul on Wednesday vowed to have arrested two men in connection with the murder of a six-year-old girl.
The minor girl was abducted from the capital’s Kher Khana neighborhood two days ago, and her body was recovered by the police later.
The abductors demanded $ 300,000 from the family of the minor girl, Mehsa, but when the victim’s family approached police for help, the minor girl was reportedly choked to death.
The police in Kabul said the two men arrested in this connection have pled guilty.
The tragic incident resulted in a robust reaction from the civil society calling for hanging of the culprits.
