JALALABAD (SW): Authorities in eastern Nangarhar province confirmed on Saturday that the pro-Daesh rebels have beheaded at least seven people that included 6 Taliban militants and one Afghan National Army (ANA) man.
A government official who wished not be named told Salam Watandar that the incident took place Friday afternoon in the restive Achin district. The official added that the Daesh militants committed this inhuman act in a public place in a bid to spread terror.
An unmanned drone has reportedly attacked this gathering on Friday leaving some 17 Daesh militants dead.
Attaullah Khogyani, spokesman for the provincial governor while confirming the incident told Salam Watandar that two top Daesh commanders were among those militants targeted by the drone.
The militants have said nothing about it so far.
This is not the first incident of this sort in this particular district. In this particular incident however, Daesh rebels were reportedly on the defensives following Taliban’s repeated attacks on their bases in Achin.
