FARAH CITY (SW) – A deadly road accident in Farah province on Friday claimed at least 14 lives, officials confirmed.
Muhibullah Muhib, spokesman for the police in Farah, told Salam Watandar the incident took place at around 03:30 am in the Bakwa district of the province. He added a passenger bus of the Wardak Baba Transport Company collided with a truck.
The spokesman said up to 29 people got injured in the accident. Among the dead include three women and two children. The wounded have been moved to Kandahar for treatment.
