KABUL (SW): The Minister of Higher Education, Najibullah Khwaja Omari, said at a news conference in Kabul today (Tuesday) that the fingerprinting for the Kankur (University Entry Exam) will begin tomorrow in Nimruz, Ghor, Logar, Badghis, and Panjshir provinces.
According to Omari, out of the 200,000 students who have registered for the Kankur exam, 62,662 of them will be enrolled in higher education institutions and 53,770 others will be enrolled in mid-higher education institutions.
There will be 120,000 questions in Dari and Pashto languages for the test takers, Omari added. The Minister for the Higher Education vowed that this year’s Kankur will be conducted in a transparent manner.
According to the officials at Ministry of Higher Education, the Kankur exam in Kapisa, Maidan Wardak, Paktia, Paktika, Khost and Nuristan will be held on the 17th and 18th of Hamal (6th and 7th April), and the dates for the Kankur exam for the remaining provinces will be announced later.
