KABUL (SW) – Following a joint operation, the security forces on Monday claimed arresting Ziaul Haq, the head of Daesh/ISIS for South Asia and Far East.
The intelligence agency National Directorate of Security (NDS) said in a statement that Khorasani was arrested following interrogations of previously detained four Daesh/ISIS terrorists. It said so-called Islamic State Khorasan (ISKP) "public relations chief" Suhaib and "intelligence chief" Abu Ali have also been detained in the same operation.
The special forces of police also took part in the operation, it added.
There was no mention of time and place for the operation.
