SHEBERGHAN (SW): The Daesh group have turned 30 schools into military outposts in Darz Aab district of Jawzjan province.
Baz Mohammad Dawar, the acting chief of Darz Aab district, told Salam Watandar that the Daesh rebel group by placing military equipment in 30 schools in the areas under their control and are using these schools as a military outpost.
Halima Sadaf Karimi, member the provincial council, citing local residents confirmed the news. She called the use schools for the military operations as unjust, criticizing the government for negligence and state that with the passing of each day insecurity increases in Darz Aab, but the central government has not taken any action to launch a military operation in the district.
The member of the Jawzjan Provincial Council warned that if security officials do not take Daesh seriously to prevent their acts, then it is likely that this group will also use schools in Qosh Tapa district as military outposts.
But, Abdul Hai Yashin, the director of education in Jawzjan, declared unawareness of Daesh’s conversion of the schools into military outposts.

The Daesh rebel group has not commented on the recent development yet.
Almost 3 months ago, Daesh rebels had stormed schools in these districts and had looted books and school equipment also had warned against un-Islamic curriculum in schools while encouraging Daesh propaganda literature as teaching material in Darz Aab.
