SHEBERGHAN (SW): Thousands of Jawzjan residents and supporters of the Coalition for the Rescue of Afghanistan (CRA) in a gathering in Sheberghan city of Jawzjan province on Sunday, criticized the leaders of the government.

They said that the government's weakness in providing security, the monopoly of power, lack of policies of the Arg (President Palace), handing over safe areas to the Taliban, and mass killing of people have made the CRA supporters 'run out of patience'. They said that the people will not be silent from now onwards.

At the gathering, supporting the Coalition for the Rescue of Afghanistan, they warned that the continuation of the situation is not acceptable to them.

Bashir Ahmad Taihyanj, the spokesman for the Junbish party, at the gathering said that if the demands of the people are not met, they will not accept a ceremonial Arg and will form another Arg.

Afzal Hadid, the head of Balkh’s provincial council, said that Arg, with each passing day, wants to sideline political leaders and personalities with fresh scenarios.

According to him, they will not remain silent and will work to save Afghanistan. He further said the CRA is committed to bringing reforms to the government.

Batoor Dostum, the president of the Junbish party, said that the Coalition for Rescue of Afghanistan has plans for permanent peace in the country, and after the return of General Dostum, the 1st Vice President of the country, the plans will be debated and analyzed.

According to him, the 1st VP of the country will return soon, and at the same time, the CRA will officially announce its existence in Kabul.

The gathering ended with the issuance of a resolution containing 16 articles, which included transparency in national procurement, the abdication of incapable security officials, and the end of conspiracies against political leaders, and providing security of citizens are noted as the basic demands of the Jawzjan residents.
