KABUL (SW) – The Ministry of Public Health has confirmed 68 new coronavirus cases taking the total to 1531.
The ministry's report, released on Sunday stated that 13 people got infected in Ghazni, 11 in Paktia, nine in Paktika, eight in Balkh, six in Kabul, six in Badghis and four in Nangarhar, four in Herat, three in Laghman, three in Khost and one in Baghlan.
Last night, three people died of the virus, according to the Ministry of Public Health with which the death toll surged to 50.
According to the health ministry, one person infected with the virus got well after treatment in Paktika province, and with this the total number of people recovering has reached to 207.
For the first time, positive cases, three in total, were reported from Khost province as well. Kabul remains on top of the list with a total of 452 positive cases of the novel virus.
