KABUL (SW) – Out of 753 samples taken from people suspected of having coronavirus, the results of 108 emerged positive, the health ministry said on Thursday.
According to the ministry, 98 patients with the Covid-19 recovered and four others died during the past 24 hours. It said the total number of positive cases of the virus in the country has increased to 36,937 with the registration of these new ones.
The official statistics indicate a total of 25,840 patients with the virus have so far recovered and 1,298 others died. The ministry announced that out of 90,575 tested samples of the coronavirus nationwide, 9,799 cases of the virus are currently active.
