“Clashes in Ghazni commanded by two Pakistani military generals”

GHAZNI CITY(SW):Mohammad Aman Hamim, Governor for Ghazni, told SalamWatandar that the intelligence information shows that two Pakistani generals command a number of Taliban commanders who fight security forces in this province.

He said that the Taliban and other foreign militants could not do anything if it was not for the command they receive from the Pakistani generals named Hamid and Mullah Saad. He vowed Ghazni would never fall to the militants and the security forces can repel any attack.

Mohammad Ali Ahmadi, Deputy Governor of Ghazni, said that the direction of the conflict has changed. He said as a result of airstrikes against the insurgents, 113 militants have been killed, many more wounded and arrested.

Currentlly the situation is back to normal and the markets are open for the residents, he said. 

Saifullah and Rahim, two residents in Ghazni, told SalamWatandar that the security situation was not that good since the past few days and people were concerned about it but now things are improving and people have dumped many of their concerns about the security situation in Ghazni.
