LASHKARGAH (SW): Colonel Mohammad Rasul Zazai, the spokesperson for the 215th Miwand Corps in Helmand said that a chopper, belonged to foreign forces, crashed down yesterday evening in Dowair Military Base in Garmser district in southern province Helmand.
Zazai said that the foreign forces have long been based in the area.
In the meantime Rasul Zazai said nothing about the death toll the crash might have caused, yet a source who didn’t wish to be named told Salam Watandar that the crash has left 4 dead and 3 more injured.
He said that on board were American Special Forces. Foreign forces have not commented in regard to the incident yet.
It is worth mentioning that Dowair in Garmsir district is the only military base which American forces are stationed there.
