JALALABAD (SW) – At least three people got killed in Nangarhar province on Saturday as multiple blasts rocked a security check post.
Spokesman for the provincial governor, Attaullah Khogyani, has said the blasts took place in the morning at a security post in the provincial capital, Jalalabad. He said a 22-year-old woman got killed and five more people got injured.
He added investigations are underway into the blasts.
However, the provincial health official claim at least three people got killed in these blasts. Gul Zada Sangar, spokesman for the Jalalabad regional hospital, told Salam Watandar three dead bodies and 19 injured have been brought to the hospital, which also include women and children.
There has been no immediate claim of responsibility.
