KABUL (SW): Two security personnel including city chief of the National Directorate of Security (NDS) in Jalalabad got killed in multiple blasts on Saturday.
Attaullah Khogyani, spokesman for the provincial governor, told Salam Watandar that the first blast resulted from an improvised explosive device planted in an auto rickshaw. He said when the security and intelligence officials reached the site, two more blast took place.
According to the governor’s spokesman, Abdul Ghafoor, the NDS director for the city, and one of his guards got killed in these blasts while six security personnel got wounded.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the incident.
