KHOST CITY (SW) – An explosive device attached to a motorcycle blew up in Khost on Tuesday killing two civilians and injuring 23 more.
Dr. Sakhi Sardar, head of the public hospital, told Salam Watandar two dead bodies and 23 injured people have been brought to public and private hospitals in the provincial capital, Khost city.
The security forces have not commented so far about the nature of the attack, however, eye-witnesses claim the IED was attached to a motorcycle parked close to the women park in the city. An eye-witness, Kamaluddin, told SW the victims were rushed to hospitals in private cars.
There has been no immediate claim of responsibility.
