KABUL (SW): A suicide blast in the capital Kabul on Wednesday killed at least 25 people.
Officials told media that the attacker wished to target the ‘Nawruz’ [New Year] gathering in the capital’s Karta-e-Sakhi neighbourhood. Eye witnesses said the death toll could be higher since there were many people present when the attack took place.
Reports suggest the attacker blew himself in a crowd of youth closed to the Ali Abad hospital.
