
KABUL (SW): Qadir Shah, spokesman for the National Security Council, has confirmed the National Security Advisor left for Pakistan to discuss security affairs.
He informed the NSA Mohammad Hanif Atmar left for one-day visit of Pakistan on the invitation of the Pakistani prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to further discuss the Afghanistan-Pakistan Action Plan for Peace and Solidarity (APAPPS). The NSC spokesman further said a while ago, an Afghan military delegation visited Pakistan to discuss APAPPS.
Shah informed the two sides would discuss bilateral cooperation and regional security matters in this visit. He added during the NSA’s visit, the two sides would task working groups to prepare practical plans for the implementation of APAPPS.
This comes amid strained ties between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
