SHEBERGHAN (SW): The Taliban fighters have clashed with pro-Daesh rebels in Darz Aab district of Jawzjan province.
The local authorities have said the clash between the two groups started on Sunday when a group of pro-Daesh rebels were besieged by the Taliban in Chakan village of Darz Aab district.
Rahmatullah Tukistani, provincial police chief, confirming the incident told Salam Watandar that at least 12 insurgents are killed as the two groups clashed. But, Rahmatullah Hashar, the chief of Darz Aab, said more than 7 insurgents are dead. He did not give details of the injured. “The clash between the two groups is still ongoing”, added Hashar.
